Cannabis Farm discovered in disused Penrith Building

A large cannabis farm was discovered in a disused Penrith building located on Burrowgate on Thursday 23rd March.

Cumbria Police's serious and Organised crime unit along with response and community officers attended to dismantle the equipment and remove the cannabis plants. 

Following the discovery of the Cannabis farm a male has been charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis and was remanded in custody to appear before court today.
