Car Smashes into Parked Vehicle in Penrith

A car understood to have been driven by a new driver displaying green P plates has collided with parked vehicle in Penrith this evening sending debris and bollards flying across the street.

Police have taped off the vehicles on Duke Street after the collision that occurred just after 7pm.

Airbags in the vehicle deployed with the force of the impact after the vehicle mounted the pavement smashing three pedestrian safety bollards and collided with a parked Tesla on Dukestreet.

The road is open with no delays to traffic.
