M6 Closed in Both Direction at Tebay

Emergency services are currently dealing with a concern for welfare on the M6 southbound.

The M6 is currently closed in both directions at Tebay between junction 37 and 38.

Cumbria Police were called at 9:24pm tonight (July 25) to the report of an incident on the motorway.

Police have said the road may be closed for some time. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
