Cumbria Police are investigating an assault that occurred at the Methodist Church on Wordsworth Street in Penrith.
The incident occurred at around 10:35am on Tuesday the 26th of March where two people were assaulted by another group of people present at the location. No serious injuries were sustained in the assault.
Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen or heard what happened to come forward to assist with the investigation.
