Slow moving abnormal load travelling north on the M6 from J39 to Gretna Currently

An abnormal load is travelling northbound on the M6 today from J39 Shap having departed just after 12pm travelling north to J45 Gretna.

The load has been parked on J39 over the last week awaiting completion of the final section of its route North.

The slow-moving convoy will see delays as it straddles two lanes of the M6 with one lane on the Northbound side of the M6 closed at Clifton.
