Two Arrested For Supplying Drugs into Penrith

Following concerns raised with Cumbria Police by members of the public over issues of drug dealing and the supplying of drugs into the Penrith area.

Officers from the Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team on Wednesday evening, stopped a vehicle on the A66 at junction 40 believed to be involved in the supply of drugs into Penrith.

Following the stop Officers carried out a search and arrested two males in the vehicle for possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. Police also uplifted the vehicle used by the pair for being used in crime.
